Ryan Williamson
I’ve spent half my life on the open seas in search of Billfish and Pelagic fish.
In doing this, the development of Pulsator Lures has been put to the test in many different ways, with input from myself and other International Skippers and Crews, who with thousands of hours as professional fisherman have contributed an incredible amount of knowledge and experience, all resulting in the creation of a wide range of lures which ensure the catching of fish.
In order to manufacture lures that are successful in the catching of these wonderful fish, an enormous amount of time on the waters is required to run the lures and to test them to their ultimate limits. This ongoing research allows for the further enhancement of their design to create a perfect lure for every specific situation.
It is easy for anyone to make a lure look “good” , but ultimately the years of experience on the waters has resulted in the ability of Pulsator Lures to develop and design a range of “ Fish Catching Machines”, which I am proud to be able to promote as successful in the catching of all species of Billfish and Pelagic fish.

Small lures & thick leaders
“Knowing how abrasive the pointy end of a big black can be and fishing an area such as Bazaruto or anywhere else where a truly mammoth size fish can show up anytime, nothing can be compromised and that includes leader thickness and strength.
As they say elephants do eat peanuts and we like to run a small lure in the spread.
Our long rigger 13” Pulsator Marlin Magnet (AKA – the little green devil) has the smallest profile in our normal spread but has caught us many BIG fish over the years.
However, the combination of small lures and heavy leaders can dampen their performance and make them go lazy and roll at times. We have found that putting a heavy-duty ball bearing swivel at the peg end of the hookset, thus allowing the hook to do its own thing, works wonders to eliminate that “sluggish” behaviour. Obviously, this translates into better presentation and thus more bites. We have also seen no difference in the hook-up ratio compared to the other lures where we peg our single hook facing up.”

“Some of my experience with Pulsator Lures”
The Marlin Magnet is an all-time favourite. My best was catching 3 big blue marlin in a day while fishing off Madeira Island
My most constant lure producing big fish on the left short corner is the 13” Dominator. The 16” Riggler is always out in the spread. Never fish without it.
The Pulsator Tube is without doubt, while pulled on the short rigger, raises and catches plenty fish.
In my option the Bonito Smoker is an amazing lure in rough water. It stays down, runs true and catches everything from small dorado to monster marlin.
Great Lures. Never fish without them.
